Founded on over 15 years in local government and the community sector, Lewis Anderson Enterprises Ltd was created to provide training and consultancy that truly meets the needs of councils and community organisations.

Lewis
A local government specialist and trainer, Lewis Anderson founded award-winning charities, chaired national networks, and served as councillor, local government chief officer and internal auditor.
Lewis has a strong record of project management from outset to delivery, and has trained hundreds across 150+ organisations. A longstanding business owner, he stands out as an embracer of new technologies and approaches to deliver practical and people-centred outcomes.

Jenny
A marketing and communications specialist with more than 30 years' experience, Jenny has worked across local government, the NHS and community sectors, helping organisations engage effectively with their audiences.
Alongside running her own business, Jenny is also an experienced parish clerk, giving her valuable first-hand insight into the opportunities and challenges facing local councils. This blend of communications expertise and practical council experience enables her to deliver engaging, relevant and impactful training.

Katherine
An experienced corporate trainer and university educator, Katherine has worked in democratic services across local government in Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire since 2019. She currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Association of Democratic Services Officers (ADSO) and works as a Senior Democratic Services Officer.
Katherine enjoys sharing practical knowledge that helps councillors and local government professionals make a positive impact in their communities while supporting effective democratic governance.

Kim
An experienced local government professional, Kim has served as a Town Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer and is actively involved in the wider sector, including serving as Treasurer of the Union of Local Council Staff (ULCS - formerly the ALCC).
Kim brings extensive expertise in governance, leadership, finance and people management, helping councils and officers develop the knowledge and confidence needed to succeed.

Sarah
An established local government professional, Sarah has more than 16 years' experience serving town and parish councils as a Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer, alongside a successful career in banking and financial services.
Sarah brings expertise in governance, financial management, internal audit, strategic planning and project delivery. Her practical experience helps councils strengthen governance arrangements, manage resources effectively and deliver services with confidence.

Mel
Mel is an experienced local government professional, currently serving as both a Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer for a range of parish and town councils. With extensive practical experience across finance, governance, service delivery and organisational management, she has overseen a diverse portfolio of services and assets including theatres, community centres, cemeteries, playgrounds and public open spaces.
